Community - 2022

Neosource, Inc. strongly supports the local community and is pleased the following agencies provide us the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to us. We encourage supporting these agencies that so strongly impact our society by improving the life for all of us.

Fostering Connections Christmas for Kids

(12/2/2022)

Neosource once again partnered with Tulsa based FOSTERING CONNECTIONS (https://www.fosteringconnectionsok.org) to sponsor 25 foster children this year responding to each child’s wish list with donations to insure a happy Christmas morning. Additionally, our great staff whole heartedly supported a separate company toy drive, providing bicycles and toys to help ensure other foster children wake up with something for Christmas. They really knocked it out of the park this year – see photos – most proud of all of them!! They also assembled 10 of Neosource’s donated 25 bicycles. And, to make sure no child wakes up with a new bike with flat tires, they check and pressurize all the tires. (click on picture to open slideshow)

John 3:16 Mission

11/19/2022

RECLAIMING LIVES; RESTORING HOPE Neosource provided 26 turkeys and a wide variety of vegetables, potatoes and other Thanksgiving ‘fixins’. Our shopper Dixie visited 4 different stores due to the limit the stores would sell. It took 4 flat carts at John 3:16 to unload everything. For 2022, John 3:16 is experiencing a real shortage of donations, so we implore everyone to help, no matter how large or small. We encourage continued giving to John 3:16, or others of your choice now and throughout the year. It’s never too late to give.

United Way Second Day of Caring-Girl Scout Camp Tallchief Lodge

October 21,2022
(9/25/2022)

”Neosource visited our old friends at Camp Tallchief for our 2nd Tulsa Area United Way Day of Caring. This is our 18th year participating in the TAUW’s Day of Caring, and all our people so enjoy these projects.”

“We have been to Tallchief many times in the past, and it was nice to visit with Ranger Scott to coordinate this Day of Caring. This project required sanding, scraping and painting the south side of the Lodge. It was a blustery day, but we managed to keep most everything from blowing away. The temperatures were great, and Scott and the Girl Scout Council provided a great lunch”.

United Way Day of Caring

September 15th & 16th, 2022
(9/25/2022)

For the 18th year, Neosource participated in the Tulsa Area United Way Day of Caring. This project took 2 days to complete.

Neosource’s first Day of Caring was 2004. Started in 1991, 2022 represents the 31st United Way Day of Caring. Today, it represents 59 Partner Agencies. Day of Caring – truly an invaluable community service.

For 2022, Neosource was presented with the opportunity to replace an entry ramp to a home for a Sperry Senior. The existing ramp was too narrow for a motorized chair. During the first planning visit, our guys wanted to replace and improve the deck area, and include a roof. Not only would the ramp be wider and more sturdy, the new deck would include guard rails and a roof for the homeowner to enjoy the outdoors. Coordinating through Sandie at Ability Resources, a design of this ramp was discussed with the homeowner, and a plan was developed.

Neosource has many skilled individuals with the knowledge to properly build a very sturdy ramp plus a house entrance deck for easy maneuvering of motorized/non-motorized chairs. Many of us think of a ramp to be simply made out of wood, cut to length with some screws holding it all together. But knowing where to even start, making everything straight and square and securing all the pieces into a sturdy, functional and good looking final result takes a lot of skill and time. Our crew never shies away from a challenging project. This project was no different.

Additionally, two of our guys took it upon themselves to repair the skirting around this home. Opossums are a problem in this area, so sealing up the skirt helps to keep them out. Thanks to Kenneth Arbuckle of AAAC Wildlife Removal for capturing and relocating these uninvited opossums

Tulsa Hope International Missions – Children’s Library
(9/11/2022)

Early 2017, Neosource partnered with Tulsa’s Hope International Ministries to ship materials by container to Ghana for the purpose of building children’s libraries. Our good friend Joe Badoe is not only a professional Tulsa painter but also a builder of hopes and dreams in his native Ghana. He has great faith, and his boundless energy is building libraries in multiple Ghana villages. We share some of those Ghana village photos from 2022.

Stuff the Bus Food Drive!
(5/26/2022)

Neosource employees initiated the Food Drive for the Eastern Oklahoma Food Bank after seeing television promotions on local Channel 2, KJRH. Last week, a collection area was set up at Neosource for donations from our crew. Everyone was looking forward to delivering the truck load of food to Channel 2 on Brookside May 25, 2022. We’re most proud of our guys/gals as they really had a successful food drive!! This donation will assist feeding children during their summer break from school. Please keep your hearts and donations open for Eastern Oklahoma Food Bank, as there is a never ending need during this challenging time.
