New Machine!

Neosource has ordered a new HAAS VF-5/50 machining center. This CNC machining center continues our efforts to upgrade our equipment for greater production and dependability. The new 50 taper HAAS will provide the extra capacity and torque required for newly acquired heavy machining applications. The VF-5/50 will complement our HAAS VF6SS and the Cincinnati VMC 1250.

We are pleased to announce and welcome Riki Young to our Neosource family as our Material Services Coordinator. This is a very busy, multi-tasking position requiring the work-ethic and experience that Riki provides.
Riki comes to Neosource with extensive aerospace experience in purchasing, scheduling, planning, vendor management and organizing. We’ve worked with Riki during her tenure at a recently closed aerospace firm, and she comes highly recommended from associate workers.
The Coordinator position is challenging with a wide variety of duties. Neosource will no doubt benefit from Riki’s in-depth experience and knowledge.
How to Make a 10' Part with a 5' Machine!

The Neosource Team shows their ingenuity by machining a section at a time on a 5' milling machine to create 10' (or longer) parts.
For the 2010 United Way Day of Caring project, Neosource closed our doors for the day, sending all employees to build and install baseball field benches, purchase and replace one of the 4’x8’ entry signs (purchased by expert Tulsa sign maker AMAX SIGN COMPANY- our Neosource neighbor, second sign purchased by Salvation Army), paint the cinderblock sign structure from blue to red AND paint the sanctuary and office building for the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Broken Arrow.
We want to thank everyone who visited our booth #115 and met our Sales Manager Steve Meyer at the 2010 Air Carriers Purchasing Conference in Detroit, Michigan.
We want to thank the 17 companies and 68 players who made our third year annual golf tournament a resounding success. Neosource’ s 2010 golf tournament was held at beautiful Emerald Falls Golf Club. The positive feedback for this course was outstanding. It was a beautiful light breezy day for the fun loving golfers who enjoyed this challenging course.
With the Tulsa economy still recovering, Neosource once again led a spearheading fund raiser towards the opening of Berry Pool, 5002 N. Wheeling (48th Street North between Lewis and Peoria).
Over 60 aerospace and manufacturing firms were contacted to participate in this endeavor, with many responding positively even in these challenging times.
On June 1-4, 2010 the Oklahoma Aerospace Alliance presented the 9th annual Oklahoma Aerospace Summit & Expo at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The Phoenix MRO was a resounding success for Neosource with significant foot traffic and interest in our Repair, Manufacturing and Waterjet capabilities. Jeremy Johnson, Steve Meyer and Rodney McDonald anchored the Neosource booth through the beautiful week of April 2010. Jeremy, representing FAA repairs and aerospace manufacturing, promoted new repairs and manufacturing capabilities. Steve Meyer, the Neosource Regional Sales Manager based near Atlanta, greeted his incredible number of acquaintances and opened new avenues for all our capabilities. Rodney McDonald, representing Waterjet, provided the advantages and fascinating technologies of waterjet cutting, including Neosource’s famous fast turn time. All three received positive feedback about our successful April 12th ISO9001/AS9100 audit.
An old friend from the Unit Rig days needed a stainless part manufactured to save a high production juicer machine used at Tulsa's Dilly Deli located at 2nd & Elgin (402 E 2nd St).
Parts for the Orangematic are no longer available. With the help of skilled programming and machining on a 4 axis CNC machining center, Neosource manufactured stainless steel juicing wheels to replace both broken original plastic wheels. The employees at Dilly Deli providing the daily fresh orange juice by hand squeezing were most thankful to have the Orangematic operating again.

Concrete Driveway Replacement

Neosource recently replaced large areas of our back lot with new 8" thick concrete using 5/8" rebar on 1' centers. The original 4" thick concrete and minimal wire was cracking and breaking through, creating hazards for fork truck and delivery traffic.
Fred Bridges has performed quality work over the years in other areas of the Neosource parking area, and we thank his A-1 Concrete employees for their excellent workmanship in pouring over 135 yards of quality concrete!

This 9” thick stainless steel is the thickest material ever cut by Neosource. It was urgently needed by a customer and cut for 12 hours to meet their time requirement.

The United Way Day of Caring 2007
September 7, 2007.
Neosource was again fortunate to participate in the United Way Day of Caring. Tulsa, Oklahoma hosts the nations largest Day of Caring with more than 4,000 volunteers completing nearly 400 projects for 65 agencies. The Tulsa Area United Way is striving to reach a goal of $23 million to fund 170 programs at the 65 agencies reaching over 640,000 people.

Neosource supports local Tulsa Manufacturer and efforts to conserve energy by replacing air conditioning / heating packages with the Tulsa made Aaon units. These highly efficient units will ultimately replace all 7 rooftop packages.
