Neosource 2nd HAAS VF-5/50 machining center has arrived and is machining parts! The new VF5/50 CNC machining center compliments our first VF5/50 placed into service May 2011, and expands our CNC Vertical Machining capability to 4 machines. Customers requiring on-time performance and increasing quantities are driving our ever expanding machining and quality capability. The VF-5/50 compliments our HAAS VF6SS, our first HAAS VF5/50 and our Cincinnati VMC 1250.
The Brown & Sharp CMM has been placed into service.

We are pleased to announce and welcome Tony Peters to our Neosource family as our Manager Quality Control. This is a new position for Neosource, as we continue to expand and diversify our CNC machined and Waterjet products.
Tony comes to Neosource with extensive professional experience for administering and executing ISO-9000/ ISO-9001/NADCAP and PMA Quality Assurance Systems. He has significant experience as a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programmer and operator.
As an 11 year veteran from the United States Navy, Tony holds a BS degree in Aviation Management with additional certification utilizing AS9100 and internal auditing from Oklahoma State University, Tulsa Technology Center, Carl Zeiss, Inc., etc. Currently, Tony is pursuing his A&P through Tulsa Technology through night classes.
This new Manager Quality Control position is challenging with a wide variety of duties. Combining Neosource’s current AS9100/ISO9001-2008 standard, our FAA Repair Station Quality Manual and the skills and experience that Tony brings significantly increases our continued commitment towards world class products.

Due to increased demand, Neosource has ordered another new HAAS VF-5/50 machining center! This machine is due to arrive by Thanksgiving.
Our current VF-5/50 was placed in service May 2011.

For the 2011 project, Neosource again closed its doors and sent all its employees (plus 1 extra volunteer!) to apply exterior sealer to the Camp Swannie log cabin used by the Girl Scouts at the 30,000 acre Zink Ranch. This cabin includes beds, bath and showers, and houses Girl Scouts for their camp activities. This project was similar to our 2008 Day of Caring project.

Neosource is pleased to announce the purchase of a Brown & Sharpe CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), model 7.10.7, due to arrive late September. Due to the ever increasing complexity of parts manufactured by Neosource, this new machine will enhance our quality requirements required for our internal audits as well as by our customers.

Conference & Exhibition April 12-14, 2011 Miami
The Miami MRO was an indication that aerospace is back in full swing. There were many vendors and significant foot traffic. Neosource continued to generate interest in our Repair, Manufacturing and Waterjet capabilities. Jeremy Johnson and Steve Meyer anchored the Neosource booth through the beautiful week of April 2011. Jeremy promoted FAA145 repairs, aerospace manufacturing and waterjet machining. Steve Meyer, the Neosource Regional Sales Manager based near Atlanta, greeted his normal incredible number of acquaintances and opened new avenues for all our capabilities. Neosource utilized a double booth for 2011 and provided great chair massages for those weary travelers by a licensed massage therapist.

The new HAAS VF-5/50 machining center arrived and has been installed! This CNC machining center continues our efforts to upgrade our equipment for greater production and dependability. The new 50 taper HAAS will provide the extra capacity and torque required for newly acquired heavy machining applications. The VF-5/50 will complement our HAAS VF6SS and the Cincinnati VMC 1250.
